This paper is a research on the aspect of image-making Murengdowon(武陵桃源), and the interpretation or its meaning.
The origin and the archetype or Murengdowon image is 〈Dohwawongi(桃花源記) and Dohwawonsi(桃花源記)〉. They are the prose and the poem or Dojam(陶潛). They described the peaceful village which are located out of this world. There is no more plundering of evil government.
The derivation or 〈Dohwawongi(桃花源記) and Dohwawonsi(桃花源詩)〉 in the later periods is divided into two types.
One is the lineage of WangYoo's(王維)〈Dowonhaing 桃園行〉, which is absorbed in the beautiful scenery or Murengdowon with the esthetic point or view. In Korean poetry tradition. this line is a main tendency: and the representative of this line is the Prince Anpyoung’s(安平大君)〈Mongyoodowondo poetry 夢遊桃園圖 卷軸〉. There are many other poems in the lineage.
The other is the linage or Wang Anseok's(王安石) WangYoo's(王維)〈Dowonhaing 桃園行〉, which is intended to criticize the evil plundering of the governors. In Korea. JinHwa's(陣?)〈Dowonga 桃源歌〉. JeongYakyoung's(丁若鏞)〈24O1d poems 古詩二十四首〉 are the typical case.
These two types is closely realated to Ganghogado(江湖歌道). so the succeeding research or these thesis is required.
