Concrete repair works have considerable differences in quality depending regions, dimension, period, using materials, and section to repair. In particular, for heterogenous distribution of upper and lower parts to repair, diverse work conditions are occured with different qualities by part. Construction of restorative materials is usually performed finishing after attaching works of primary spraying. At this time, flowing of restorative materials in sides and floors due to the gravity has a considerable difficulty of providing with consistent construction. It is a solution of this problem that two or three times of spraying are usually applied in sides and lower parts of site construction. However, separate works produce lower quality of construction and surface levelling.
This study is intended to compare and review the performances by using crimp wire netting and corner bead and making Mock-Up to improve the efficiency of works and adhesion and ensure levelling in concrete restoration. Or, for repair of lower part, the most difficult to repair, main purposes of this study are the use of crimp wire netting to improve adhesion properties of restorative materials and the use of corner bead to provide with better levelling of surfaces to restore, identifying these performances.
In result, the use of crimp wire netting and corner bead has improved the efficiency of adhesion of materials and caused to use mortar of 50㎜ adhered by two to complete works. It means that the use of corner bead improves the levelling of restorative surfaces.
