The main purpose of this study was to clarify the classification of the theater and establish the improvement direction of the operation and utilization in theater, through understanding the present state of the theater.
Therefore, this study will be helpful to cope with the change of desire from quantitative to qualitative utilization in theater.
Finally the conclusion of this study will offer the architectural basic guideline and data about composition of the theater through the analysis of the present operation and facilities improvement as an essentail element for the theater. And considering the restoration of local autonomy. it is quite useful to make efforts following direction. First, all legislation on culture should be altered to improve regional culture, especially, culture and arts promotion act and the other ones be unified. Second, cultural organization should be reorganized by re-allocation of affair and delegation of functions. Third, culture finance should be enlarged. Fourth, culture facilities using-man should be build up. Fifth, regional cultural - facilities should be enlarged and cultural activities be pervasive for this purpose, on the one hand, the building of new facilities and renovation of old facilities should be considered.
