This study is about the excavated costumes of Jung clan of Dong-le, from Po-cheon, Gyeonggi Province. Her tomb was excavated while changing the burial site of Hwak Kim, clan of An-dong, her husband.
From the excavated costumes, there are many Jang-ot, and for upper garment, there are Dang-ui, Jo-go-ri, and Han-sam. Some of the Jo-go-ri are made with rectangular shaped collar, and some were Dan-ko shaped collar. Dang-ui are made with rectangular shaped collar, and two of them were worn together. There were 10 pieces of skirts, and they were unlined, double layered, padded, and quilted. Trousers had straps, two of them had opening underneath, and one didn't.
Won-sam was the ceremonial clothes, and this is the special feature about her excavated clothes. In the 16th century, Dan-ryeong was worn for ceremonial clothes, and it's being changed to Won-sam in this period.
From above, when she was buried in the early period of 17th century, and when the Japanese invaded Korea, there were various changes in the costumes.
