There are two images of nature in the poetry of Hyun-seung Kim. One is the abundant images of nature related by the world of God. The other is the dried images of nature related by the world of man(the self). The use of this two contrast images in his poetry reveals the worldview of Hyun-seung Kim. He strictly divides the two worlds in his mind. This is the consciousness of dualism to the world. In his middle age's poetry, the theme of the loneliness is not the denial of christianity but the doubt of christianity in the realms of the christian religion. In the final term in his life(after 1973), he tried to integrate the two world in his poetry. In this poetry, the dried
images of nature changes to the abundant images of nature. This change is related by the poet's desire of salvation. Therefore, Hyun-seung Kim maintained the christian mind in his all life and his poetry.
