The purpose of this study is to analyze in Women's TaekwonDo.
Kicking Motion with videotaped, method subjects were 2 best '98 national Women's TaekwonDo player.
Each subject was video taped(60㎐) while acting each Kicking Motion.
The DLT method was used to obtain the 3-dimensional coordinates of the body landmarks.
The recorded images were subject to digitizing with Kwon 3D Motion Analysis Package.
The following Kinematic factors were computed in relation to the kickingfoot, speed of kicking foot, angle of joint, reacting force from the weight supporting foot.
The following observations were drawn from the data analysis.
1. In the time of kicking motion, Apchagi is more rapid (0.46~0.58 sec.) than the other motion. (0.58~0.88 sec.)
2. In the time of performance, the lower weight class player is more rapiditorso attacking 0.46, face attacking 0.55 sec.) than heavier weight class player (torso 0.58, face 0.51 sec.) in each kicking motion.
3. Moving distance of kicking foot is short for the lower weight class player(torso : 1.951, face 2.727 m) compare with the heavier weight class player (torso : 2.554, face: 2.776 m).
4. The speed of Apchagi is fast (heavier weight class player, torso 15.914, face 15.093m/sec.) (lower weight class player, torso 16.017, face 14.841 m/sec.)
5. During the impacting, the range of angle of knee is 138~143° for torso attacking, 169~171° for face attacking), and the knee joint is not completely extend.
6. The max. value of reacting force from the weight supporting foot is 1189N (A player), 1102N (B player). (A:1189N, B1102N: face attacking) (A: 1065N, B:930N torso attacking Heavier weight class player's reacting force is greater than lower weight class player's.
