The purpose of this study was to develop of performance psychology inventory on understanding approach game in elementary school.
The development of inventory used open questionnaire for sampling factors after operating own manufactured understanding approach game with 569 elementary students. The students who attended open questionnaire also attended first and second preliminary examination. The questions based on inductive contents analysis of open questionnaire data and preceeding researches were gathered and developed for this study.
Some questions which caused to drop Cronbach's a removed through basic statistic analysis and inter-item consistency analysis after twice preliminary examinations for increasing validity. Exploratory factor analysis used for proof structure of selected questions. The validity of inventory was proved by Confirmatory factor analysis for suitability of questionnaire.
The results of this study are as follows:
- The maximum likelihood estimation was used for selecting factors of performance with understanding approach game. 5 factors which was over 1 in eigen value were selected. These factors appeared Interest factors(7questions), Intelligence factors(6questions), Anxiety factors(4questions), Cooperation factors(5questions), Accomplishment factors(4questions).
- The Cronbach's a was from .710 to .814. It showed appropriative validity value. As a results of exploratory factor analysis, Q value was .888. It meaned that the selected factors could speak for other Questions which composed them.
- Q, GFI and AGFI in developed of performance psychology inventory on understanding approach game were each .118, .981 and .977. It showed that it was adequate level in measured model. Most indexes were over standard at adjustment. So, this inventory approved structural validity.
- Results analysis of inter correlation within confirmatory factors did not work independently. So, these showed that these worked complex correlation in performance psychology factors.
