This study shows a poetics characteristics of GangWooSig's poetry. His poetics characteristics is composed of 4ways as ‘the poetics for solving his sorrow’, ‘the poetics for devil playing with eros’, ‘the poetics for critiquing inhuman and immoral society’, and ‘the poetics for returning to nature’. The poetics for solving his sorrow characterizes his poetry of 사행시초 Four lines's verse , the poetics for devil playing with eros characterizes his poetry of 꽃을 꺾기 시작하면서 Breaking the flowers , the poetics for critiquing inhuman and immoral society characterizes his poetry of 어머니의 물감상사 Mother's colors box , and the poetics for returning to nature characterizes his poetry of 바보 산수 Fool and landscape .
The poetics for solving his sorrow and devil playing with eros characterize his poetry in the early of his life, and the poetics for critiquing inhuman and immoral society and returning to nature characterize his poetry in the latter of his life. His poetry in the early of his life are composed of dynamic texture and those in the latter are composed of static texture.
GangWooSig's poetry sing eros and his hometown sea, the East sea as the main motives. The motives of eros and sea characterize his poetry dynamic texture. Because, the imagery of eros and sea are based of antinomic image as same as the life and death, or the good and evil. As a result, his poetics characterizes antinomic image by the lyric and anti-lyric.
