For examining the factors of sports hero in modern society and analyzing Guss Hiddink's suitability as a sports hero by terms, we enforced with questionnaires of 429 and 473 men and women high school students in Busan and analyzed factors based on the gathered data. As a result of analysis, subjects answered 4 factors for becoming a sports hero. Specific result is like the followings.
1) They answered that the most important factors for sports hero is a moral sense, and then the degree of contribution in society, leadership, and differentiation.
2) As a result of analysis on suitability on the basis of a moral sense, a subordinate factor for sports hero, of Guss Hiddink, there is not any meaningful difference between a moral sense which sports hero has to possess and Guss Hiddink's, statistically.
3) As a result of analysis on suitability on the basis of the degree of contribution in society, a subordinate factor for sports hero, of Guss Hiddink, the degree of contribution in society of Guss Hiddink was shown higher than the general degree of contribution in society for sports hero.
4) As a result of analysis on suitability on the basis of leadership, a subordinate factor for sports hero, of Guss Hiddink, Guss Hiddink's leadership was shown higher than general sports hero's.
5) As a result of analysis on suitability on the basis of differentiation, an subordinate factor for sports hero, of Guss Hiddink, the differentiation of Guss Hiddink was shown higher than general sports hero's.
