Objectives. The purpose of this study is to analyze the socialenvironment factors by region of 65 years old and over in Korea and to study the factors of longevity.
Methods. The study included 16 regions with a total of 4,171,016 over 65 years old. The data in this study was collected from The National Statistical Office, Republic of Korea.
Results. Those region the longest were Chollanam (15.8%: 65 years old and over) County in that order. The correlation of longevity factors by social-environment were newspaper (+0.921), fatness (-0.689), local tax revenue (-0.892), divorce (-0.709) and dirt road (+0.672).
Conclusions. We should learn to live long and healthily from residence harmonized with natural environment. Longevity is to be fostered for the promotion of health by control the social-environment factors.
