This study is to analyze how middle school girls' attitude toward the physical education and the basic skills of soccer was changed in the course of planning and applying the alternative soccer program, which was designed for the purpose of leading to their positive and active attitude in the physical education mixed with schoolboys and schoolgirls.
Accordingly, the results are as follows, through our research and discussion.
First, soccer has been confined to schoolboys, but this alternative soccer program was designed to offer schoolgirls an equal opportunity. They showed their positive attitude toward the purpose of physical health, which meant their improvement in health and game function by their physical education.
Second, they demonstrated their high level in their achieving purpose of mental health as they overcame their anger and considered others in the soccer game with schoolboys.
Third, they showed their high level in their achieving purpose of social health, which meant their responsibility and corporation required to perform their common goals.
Fourth, they showed changes in their positive and practical attitude in terms of the purpose of the physical education, the extent of their level in acquiring the necessary knowledge for their physical action with its application.
Fifth, through the alternative soccer program, they didn't show any improvement in lifting and shooting as for the basic skills of soccer.
But, they tended to improve themselves in zig-zag dribbling, long kicking, 10m shuttle dribbling, No dramatic difference was made by statistics.
