The purpose of this study is analysing a relation of defender's distance and examining that the distance is an effective defense. Consequently, the defender's distance is depending on ball's position and it relates to ball's distance from the line of defense.
But it is not always to relate for defender's distance and what the other team is an offensive or not becomes an important factor to defender's distance. And then, the best effective defense is opposed to ball's position and decide on defender's distance freely.
In this study, it cannot define defender's distance clearly but I think it becomes more objective through another data of game. And then. I hope this study is helpful.
