Curriculum of Native Tongue has been revised in 2006. This new curriculum is organized on the basis of the linguistic modes (i.e. listening, speaking, reading, writing) and the textual modes. The latter are introduced afresh, whereas the former are succeeded to the preceding versions in teaching mother tongue.
The new curriculum proposes to teach a hundred textual modes. But if we stress these modes we lose the sprit of the teaching native language, as we stress on the modes of text the students will cling to memorize the similarities and differences of the modes letting aside of formation of their contents which come from student's thinking processes. The aim of teaching mother tongue is to proliferate students' thinking processes with their tongue.
The modes of texts are not classified as revealing their natural features in the new curriculum. They must be rearranged according to the one in Brooks. et.al.(1979) and should be consolidated similar modes into ones. We decompose the all modes in the curriculum as [Table 4]. If we classify the modes as description, narrative, exposition, argumentation and suggestive, we can arrange teaching sequences of the modes throughout ten years of teaching. We arrange the teaching sequences as [Table 3].
