In this research paper I would like to deal with the issue of efficiency for the chapel and to survey self-consciousness of students. For this investigation, I use the data from the questionnaire. Induk Institute of Technology was established on the base of the christian faith. From that christian heritage this college goes thoroughly into upbringing those students as christian community leaders. In oder to accomplish that purpose, we are trying to cultivate them through the unique christian chapel. Especially, the first year students have to participate the chapel because it's a required course. In that situation, we have to concern two things: first, how we could operate the chapel meaningfully and cheerfully, and second, how we could develop the chapel to be suitable for students in oder to achieve our goal with their positive participation.
However, modern human beings are standing on the complicate society without any spiritual safe-guard. In that kind of complexed situation and unstableness, is guided them the way of easily escaping to; game room, use drug, alcohols and despair with self-destruction, etc. Those negative tendencies are naturally raised by the social atmosphere especially such as political corruption, economical disharmony and higher unemployment. That is why the chapel is most important. Through the chapel we should guide them into the power of self management, it's naturally delivered to them to overcome their life more accurately.
Nevertheless, no matter what, I am strongly emphasize that, it's really ifficult teach them religion, especially christian education or chapel.
For an example, according to present questionnaire they answered "I don't know" is more than 50%! Although, I could have some kind of positive perspectives through this questionnaire, according to questionnaire at the list, 30% of students appreciate chapel. It shows that their hearts receive christian faith. Finally, in this paper, I would like to find out a solution for more effective way for the chapel in oder to as a good chance cultivate the students as a disciple of Jesus. Amen.
