According to Gwangmuyangan(光武量案) of Jinchun(鎭川) in the late Chosun Dynasty, I analyzed the forms with Dbase program how landlords placed their own farmland. There are two extreme forms. The one was that owners scattered lands over various Myeon(面). The other was that they concentrated their farms to 1 Myeon. Top Lankers in possesion prefered to the latter. Even if their lands were placed over various Myeon(面), almost of them were a small, In fact, they placed the 60%-80% of their lands in 1 Myeon(面).
This narrow range in land distribution means that landlord's power were restricted within one Myeon. This situation make hard for common landlord take part in management or reformation of society.
Next, I analzed how farmers were related to landlords with land. The 34% of tillers worked the farm of one landlord. The 66% workers had relation to 2-28 landlords. Generally we have surmized the workers to live in the village which Yangban(兩班) or same clan dominated were stronglly subordinated to them. But, According to Gwangmuyangan, the workers in Yangban village cultivated the various landlords's land. I think that this phenomenon, diversification of landlord, means result of country society's change to be advanced from 18C. Common people had grown up in society and economy. In traditional village, the common and worker's power was strengthened. They got out of Yangban landlord and village regullation, began to sellect and diverse their landlord.
