This study aims to interpret the changing process of urban form by investigating that of various elements, such as streets and plots.
For the case study, a part of C.B.D. in Seoul is selected and changing process is devided into four periods according to the degree of morphological change in order to pursue the changing process of plots.
Three features are founded in the case study as followings.
First, large plot is divided in two patterns. One is that it is divided into small plots. And the other is into some small plots and a medium size plot. In the former, the pattern of small plots has lasted now. In the latter, the medium size plot, combining these small plots, is turned into large plot.
Second, in the case of division of small plots, after outer streets were formed, they happened to be divided into small ones inside of the block.
Third, according to the number of the roads facing to plot, division typology of plot is classified into three types.
