Literature is a principal source of cultual contents. Korean classical novel <Chunhyangjeon> and Chinese long epic <Ashima> have a comparative value in aspect of theme, narrative structure, continuous cultual contents. 1st, They have a anti-feudal theme consciousness against unfair feudalistic authority. 2nd, Two pieces have a same narrative structure. They describe the process of heroine's birth, growth crisis and overcoming the crisis. 3rd, These two pieces are now bing loved from the people of each countries. And they are extended to film, drama, festival.
But the aesthetic consciousness of them is not the same. <Chunhyangjeon> has a elegantly sublime aesthetic While <Ashima> has a tragical sublime aesthetic. It's a difference of cultural peculiarity between two country. If we can exchange the cultural contents of two pieces. It will contribute to develop cultural contents of two countries.
