The purpose of the study is to consider the Beyer Piano Methode and Solfege, and to focus on the next three steps: The first step is to understand quality and method of Solfege; the second step is to find its educational value and feature of the Beyer Piano Methode; and the final step is to investigate the Solfege pedagogy for beginner students by the materials in the methode.
And the results are as following: Solfege is a comprehensive education to learn basic music elements, and should be practiced to piano students in every piano lesson: It is available to consider the Beyer Piano Methode as an effective materials for Solfege pedagogy in various way.
This study would contribute to reconsider the superiority of the Beyer method, to realize the necessity of Solfege pedagogy, and to help practice the Solfege effectively.
