On today, motion to recognize and enjoys instead of rejection about masscult is dominate and became that discussion and study are very natural. TV among medium that form masscult is the most popular media. To examine literary works and ideology change that appear in drama this paper selected two works-『Is still dreaming you』, 『A woman saint and a witch』. These are dramas that present problems that is brought in novel to reader by little more many-sided and active method. In 『Is still dreaming you』, in discourse of inconsistency of right or wrong patriarchy with problem of sexual discrimination and Hoju-system in census registration, legal inequality etc.
『A woman saint and a witch』 is dealing with problem of criticism about woman's dichotomy, attached image of man and woman, woman's independence etc. Abandoned Mun-kyeong to former husband is again derelict by Hyeok-ju and is gotten the sack by father which oppose that become unwed mother in 『Is still dreaming you』. Ha-ran is abandoned to husband Su-young in 『A woman saint and a witch』. Problem about progressive interests acquisition of woman ‘that get the sack’ is dealt in two works. Woman does not fear that take the victory and is solo to these to constitute ‘perfect’ family(stability) and leaves studying abroad resolutely for self realization in these works. Challenging values are painted as for stability ideology. As this seize two works in Korean social democratization atmosphere, that try to focus on problem institution about sexism by commercial strategy and criticism at the same time, to meet on request of area viewers be due to . This is segment that progressive value of drama stands out. Association of literature and drama is giving literary existence meaning. Literary works must become to image or drama according to inclination of image generation wanting to see literary works as image work, it is desirable that go forward to direction that assert progressive value this time.
