Based on a standard that was set up by the characteristics of the excavated costumes, the upperwears from the excavated grave of Ms IlSun Moon, Andong, Kyungbuk are classified and studied in this paper. The results are as follows.
A total of 18 upperwears are collected from the grave and the forms are classified as, Jangjegori(長赤古里), Danjegori(短赤古里), Juksam(赤衫) , and Hansam(한삼) These classification is based on the color, length, and detailed form There are classified by outer wear as Jangjegori and Danjegori, and Juksam and Hansam as inner wear.
Further data from the future excavated costume may help solving remaining questions regarding the classification of the studied the upperwear's forms
