The authors carried out a study on the influence of daylighting environment according to surface reflectivity of opposite building for improvement of poor environment conditions in a metropolitan area. The numerical model developed can be used for evaluation of daylight reflecting performance.
In this paper, the sensitivity analysis of environment performance factors of daylight reflecting from the opposite building were examined, analysed and presented as a solution method for improvement of building environments. The results were proved to be an effective control methods for improvement of building environment, especially in a metropolitan area. On the basis of this research, the experimental study should be performed.
