According to modernization, the city of Ulsan Korea have been rapidly growing both in quality and quantity, especially external growth in size has extinguished and diminished not only physical peculiarity but also possibility of the city. An image of the city commonly appears through physical factors of residential environment and to preserve or develope cities own feature by grasping its landscape is very important for improving quality level of external space of the city, and is also expected to help to provide the thread for setting some problems. This study tried to take feasibility examine of adoption on interpretation technique by simulations methodology of landscape features in Ulsan city of housing estate townscape analysis of a Taehwa river-side through this study.
In this case study on the city of Ulsan and Taehwa riverside aesthetic review shows that the type of design control is classified into three categories ; control over the layout, apartment type, high and width, facade color from riverside, skyline contrast, the followings are result of the research; 1) In foreign countries formated central city with high-rise building on the urban street and a residential streets wheel type system. Our city of Ulsan grew already irregularity. Therefore it's planning and must design be look at very carefully specially high-rise apartment on river side in city of Ulsan. 2) In case of Ulsan the commercial buildings are not aggregated in central city so it must planning and designing for environment when redevelopment and relocation of city. 3) The exterior color design of architecture that can be utilized step by step in Korea. The shortage of design review time is serious for. thus it is necessary to cooperate with corresponding local government. 4) The result of survey about the image of Ulsan city is that it needs most changes as demands treated by a survey of people, 95% of people wanted and changed and 3% of a respondent wants enough to preservative the view of Taehwa riverside.
Therefore the view of Ulsan city Taehwa riverside housing estate could be examinate for the new establishment of Ulsan city Taehwa riverside housing estate view.
