In the serviceability requirement for the tall building
subjected to wind-induced vibration, the design criteria
require the building accelration in a certain range to
assure the occupants' comfort.
The result of surveys conducted for the occupants in tall
building in Seoul is summarized in this paper. Based on
the result of surveys and computation of building
accelerations, this paper proposes a serviceability
criterion curve that can rationally analyze the-motion
-discomfort problem for tall buildings.
