Web 3.0 is an advanced web technology that represents a new paradigm in which blockchain technology is incorporated into the existing web structure. By providing transparent and reliable services through decentralization, Web 3.0 has the potential to transform various industries. However, while Web 3.0 services have been released, most real-time services still rely on Web 2.0 structures. Especially, Web 3.0 streaming service architecture requires a different design approach because it’s not always increasing user experiences. For instance, decentralized data requires greater service delays than centralized data, which lowers the quality of the user experience. In addition, the core technologies of Web 3.0, such as distributed storage and cryptocurrency APIs, may not work depending on the operating system (OS) and web browsers. This paper proposes a real-time Web 3.0 system architecture for real-time streaming services that minimizes user experience degradation. Based on the results of this research, the video NFT service, Retriever (https://retriever.live), has been developed, which enables users to trade digital assets with minimized exposure of private information and stable streaming.
