In order to fulfill the role of science high school in accordance with the purpose and status of establishment according to the demands of the times, this study classified the talents of science high schools based on the types of talents, analyzed the common competencies that appear in the talents. The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of human resource reflection in the step-by-step process for admission screening for science high schools and to derive measures to reflect the human resource. The following results were obtained through the analysis of the survey conducted to identify the link between the talent and admissions screening, targeting 3 science high school teachers, 10 education experts, and 17 middle school teachers in each region for each stage of the student selection process of A, B, and C science high schools located in each of the 20 science high schools nationwide. First, it was found that the domestic science high school talents are aiming for the talents who have more predominance of ‘publicity’ and ‘performance’. Second, it is very limited to evaluate students'' interests and various competencies to assess whether they are suitable for science high school talent because the data necessary for the first stage document evaluation are limited. Did not do it. Second, it has some limitations to assess whether they are suitable for science high school talent with the evaluation of students'' interests and various competencies because the data necessary for the first stage document evaluation are limited. In addition, the evaluation ways to assess ‘publicity’ are not clear. Third, in the second-stage convocation interview evaluation, closed questions that require accurate answers are mainly composed, and it is difficult to grasp the talents that appear in ''publicity'' or ''performance'' such as creativity, personality, and community competence of students. In addition, there are some unfair questions that are more advantageous for students who took private education and prior learning. So, it was an evaluation that focused a little more on the ''utility'' and ''performance'' of students as a result of the trained learning. Therefore, from the results of the survey, it can be concluded that there is not much connection between science high school talent and admission screenings. Through this, the methods of reflecting the talent of science high school in the admission screening process for each stage of science high school are as follows. First, expand the content that can be included in the self-introduction letter so that students'' various competencies and normative values can be revealed in the first-stage document evaluation, or have the school record book reflect not only math and science grades, but also other subject grades and broaden the degree of reflection of nonsubject activities. In addition, new evaluation methods such as the teacher''s observational recommendation system, the gifted education center-class recommendation system, and portfolio evaluation should be introduced to select students who meet the “publicity” and “performance”-centered talents. In addition, in order to increase the validity and reliability of document evaluation and attendance/visit interview evaluation, a variety of verification systems should be prepared, and an admission officer with expertise should be assigned to ensure that students who meet the talents are selected. Second, in order to avoid a closed question that promotes private education by focusing on a specific field in the second-stage convening interview evaluation, experts must gather and jointly set questions not for each school, so that an open and fusion question that allows students to think divergently should be presented. Therefore, the implications through this study can be broadly divided into two. First, the admissions process for science high school should be changed so that it can select students who meet the “publicity” and “performance” oriented talents that science high schools pursue. Second, it is necessary to change the talent image of science high school and the competency that appears in the talent image to be suitable for the modern times. After this research, if studies on ''Adequacy of Science High School''s Talent and Competency'', ‘Study on the Systematic Review of Science High School Admissions Screening Method'', or ''Development of Evaluation Items Reflecting the Talent of Science High School'' are conducted, I think it will be possible to more clearly establish the admission selection that reflects the purpose of the establishment of the science high schools and the ideals of human resources.
