본 연구에서는 자격증 취득 여부에 따른 국내외(국제) 화훼장식 자격증 인식을 알아보고 국내 자격증의 활용방안을 모색하고자 자격증 취득자 100명과 미취득자(일반인) 210명, 총 310명을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였다. 화훼장식 관련직 종사자 대부분이 화훼장식 자격증을 취득하였으나, 직위에 따라 자격증 취득 여부에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 화훼장식 자격증 취득자의 보유 자격증에 대한 만족도는 국내 화훼장식 자격증보다는 외국(국제) 화훼장식 자격증에 대한 만족도가 상대적으로 높았음을 알 수 있었다. 특히, 상업성이 강한 미국 화훼장식 민간자격증에 대한 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났으나 국내 화훼장식 민간자격증은 모든 화훼장식 자격증에 비해 만족도가 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 만족 이유로는 능력개발과 전문성, 자격증이 주는 신뢰성과 실제 업무에 도움을 주기 때문으로 나타났다. 국내외 화훼장식 자격증 선호도 조사에서는 취득 여부와 상관없이 국내 화훼장식 국가자격증인 화훼장식기사와 화훼장식기능사에 대한 선호도가 높았으며, 국내 화훼장식 민간자격증은 취득자와 미취득자(일반인) 모두 선호하지 않았다. 자격증 선호 이유로는 자격증이 주는 신뢰감과 자신감, 다양한 실무에서의 활용이 가장 큰 이유로 나타났다. 화훼장식 자격증별 신뢰도에서는 자격증 취득 여부와 상관없이 국내 화훼장식 민간자격증을 제외한 모든 자격증을 신뢰하는 것으로 나타났으며 특히, 국내 화훼장식기사, 미국 화훼장식 민간자격증과 유럽 화훼장식 국가자격증에 대한 신뢰도가 높았다. 자격증 취득 여부에 따라 자격증에 대한 선호도와 신뢰도가 다른 것을 알 수 있었으며, 국내외(국제) 화훼장식 자격증에 따른 활용도에서도 취득자와 미취득자의 인식차이가 나타났다. 국내 화훼장식기(능)사 자격 검정이 실시된 후 몇 년 전까지만 해도 취득한 자격증이 전문성과 실무에서의 활용성을 인정받지 못하고 있었으나 만족도, 선호도 및 활용도 조사를 통해 국내 화훼장식 국가자격증에 대한 인식이 변화되었음을 알 수 있었다. 하지만 여전히 국내 화훼장식 민간자격증에 대한 인식은 낮았으며, 체계화된 교육, 시험의 난이도와 공정한 평가방식, 실무와의 연계 등의 발전 방안을 모색하여 실무자들의 만족도와 신뢰도, 활용도의 증진이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 이를 통해, 국내 화훼장식 자격증 중 특히 국내 민간자격증에 필요한 요인들을 도입하고 보완하여 문제점들을 해결한다면 국내 화훼장식 자격증 발전에 도움이 될 것이며 국내 화훼장식 자격증에 대한 인식 변화에 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다.

This study surveyed a total of 310 people, including 100 possessors and 210 non-possessors of a floral design certificate to investigate awareness and preferences, based on the acquisition status of Korean domestic and international certificates, and to explore ways to better utilize in Korea. Most of the flower-related workers have obtained certificates, but depending on the position, there is a difference in whether a certificate obtained. The satisfaction level of the floral design certificate possessors showed that they were more satisfied with foreign (international) certificates than with domestic ones, and especially with American private certificates with strong commerciality. Among the reasons for satisfaction were professionalism, ability development, reliability from certificates, and practical use. On the other hand, domestic certificates fall from satisfaction because they do not affect salary issues and employment and turnover. The survey on the preference for certificates showed that engineer floral design and craftsman floral design, which are national certificates in Korea, were most preferred regardless of whether they were acquired. The reasons for the preference for certificates were the trust, confidence, and utilization of certificates in various practices.
On the other hand, the preference for private certificates in Korea was low; neither the possessor nor the non-possessor preferred domestic private certificates. Each certificate''s reliability showed that it trusts all certificates, especially engineer floral design, American private certificates, and European national certificates except for domestic private certificates. Depending on the possessor and the non-possessor, the preference and confidence for the certificate were different, and the perception was also different in terms of utilization of domestic and foreign (international) certificates. A few years ago, the domestic national certificates not recognized for their expertise and practical use, but the survey of satisfaction, preference, and utilization showed that the perception of domestic national certificates in Korea has changed. However, the awareness of domestic private certificates has remained low, and it believed that it would be necessary to improve the satisfaction, credibility, and utilization of working-level officials by seeking ways to develop them, including systematic education, test difficulty, and appropriate evaluation methods, and linkage with practical work. Through this, the introduction and supplementation of the necessary factors for domestic private certificates among domestic floral design certificates would help develop domestic floral design certificates and also help change the awareness.
