본 연구에서는 발달장애 근로자의 기초능력이 직업성공에 어떠한 영향
을 미치는지를 알아보기 위하여 발달장애 근로자의 기초능력을 독립변수
로, 사회적-대인관계 기술과 장애인에 대한 태도를 매개변수로, 직업성공을
종속변수로 구성하여 연구모형을 설정하였다. 이를 뒷받침하기 위하여 장
애인표준작업장에서 발달장애 근로자와 함께 근무하는 동료근로자를 대상
으로 설문조사를 하여 총 242부를 최종 분석에 활용하였고, SPSS 22.0과
AMOS 22.0을 이용하여 분석하였다.
본 연구에서는 발달장애 근로자의 기초능력이 직업성공에 미치는 영향
과 그 둘의 관계에서 발달장애 근로자의 직업성공에 대한 기초능력과 사회
적-대인관계 기술, 장애인에 대한 태도의 직접효과를 살펴보고, 부트스트래핑
(Bootstrapping) 방식을 이용하여 사회적-대인관계 기술과 장애인에 대한 태도
의 매개효과 크기를 파악하고, Sobel Test를 활용하여 매개효과의 통계적 유의성
을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 발달장애 근로자의 기초능력은 장애인에 대한 태도와 사회적-대
인관계 기술, 직업성공에 유의한 정(+)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 매개변수인 장애인에 대한 태도와 사회적-대인관계 기술은 종속
변수인 발달장애 근로자의 직업성공에 사회적-대인관계 기술은 유의한 정
(+)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 장애인에 대한 태도는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 발달장애 근로자의 기초능력과 직업성공의 관계에서 매개변수인
사회적-대인관계 기술은 유의한 정(+)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나,
또 다른 매개변수인 장애인에 대한 태도는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났
다.
넷째, 발달장애 근로자의 기초능력과 직업성공의 관계에서 장애인에 대
한 태도와 사회적-대인관계 기술의 이중 매개효과는 유의하지 않은 것으로
나타났다.
이러한 연구결과는 발달장애 근로자의 직업성공에 대한 실증적 근거와
개입전략을 제시하였으며, 발달장애 근로자의 직업성공을 위하여 필요한
프로그램을 구성하기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다. 또한, 발달장애 근
로자의 직업성공을 위한 교육 프로그램 개발과 서비스에 대해 유용한 정보
를 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
