Polyacetylene, which is a representative polymer having semiconductor characteristics as an optical material and a next generation material including organic solar cells, is being studied. Polyacetylene has a simple structure but its use is limited due to insolubility that is insoluble in a solvent and oxidation stability in air. In order to overcome these limitations, various acetylene polymers were synthesized by using 2-Ethynylpyridine and an acidic system. In this study, ionic conjugated polyacetylene derivatives of P2EP-N, P2EP-PP and P2EP-S were synthesized by synthesizing nitric acid, phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid with 2-ethynylpyridine. The structures, thermal stabilities, optical properties and electrochemical properties of the polymer were investigated and analyzed by using 1H-NMR, FT-IR, UV-vis, TGA, DSC and CV.
