The purpose of this study is to find out the structural correlation between the major satisfaction and grit in relation to the difficulties of career, which is an immediate problem for university students and the most important task, the relationship between parental child attachment and career determination self-efficiency. To achieve the purpose of the research, firstly, the structural relationship of the major satisfaction and grit was confirmed in relation to the relationship between the parents of college students and the self-efficiency of career determination. Second, it was analyzed whether the degree of parental attachment and major satisfaction of college students affected career determination self-efficiency. Third, the mediated effects of grit were verified in relation to the relationship between parents'' bond and career determination self-efficiency of university students.
The population of this study was 355 university students with four-year status as final analysis data. The research tools identified parent-child bonding, career-setting self-efficiency, major satisfaction, and Grit''s Cronbach''s α.
To summarize the results of this study, it was found that Grit''s parenting and correlation with career determination self-efficiency were shown to have a direct influence on Grit''s parents'' affinities, but not directly on career-setting self-efficiency. Second, it has been shown that the relationship between parents'' bond and career-setting self-efficiency is completely different from the major satisfaction level. Third, it was found that the relationship between parent attachment and career determination self-efficiency was completely mediated with Grit.
The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, college students with a high level of parental affection can make continuous efforts and practice in career and career choice because of their high sense of satisfaction with Grit, major, and career determination. Second, in order to enhance the career determination self-efficiency of college students, it is necessary to improve confidence so that they can perform various tasks related to career choice of college students, increase the degree of satisfaction with their major according to their aptitude and interests, and raise the grit that gives them the passion to challenge success to the end. Therefore, it suggests that career education systems or diversified research activities are needed to increase these variants.
Suggestions for follow-up research are as follows. First, as a result of the analysis of 355 university students in South Gyeongsang Province, it is difficult to generalize them as Korean university students, so research is needed to generalize them into a wider and more diverse list of regions. Second, it is regrettable to infer the results of the major satisfaction level as the first grader out of 355 university students was selected at a time when 55 percent of the majors are unclear. Third, since it was difficult to see specific correlations because the sub-factories of each variation were not specifically addressed, a study of multidimensional sub-strains is needed.
