The purpose of the study is to identify the effect of the effect of spiritual well-being and attitude toward death on Quality of Life among Alcoholics Anonymous(A.A) members. Cross-sectional, descriptive study design was empolyed. participants were 133 AA member fram A.A CH confederation and members of A.A group in C&D regions. Data were collected from August 11 to September 1 in 2018. Data were t-test, ANOVA, Tukey HSD test, Pearson''s correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multi-regression analysis were analyzed using SPSS WIN 20.0.
In the results
1. Average of spiritual well-being was 4.40(±0.86) point. In its sub-areas, religious well-being is 4.31(±0.99) point on average, and existential one 4.50(±0.88) point. Average of attitude toward death was 2.96(±0.47) point. Average of quality of life(QOL) was 3.37(±0.60) point.
2. The difference in quality of life according to general characteristics was statistically different in education(F=3.48, p=.034), occupation(t=2.85, p=.005), income(F=5.92, p=.001), double diagnosis(F=13.64, p<.001).
3. Their were stohcally positive correlation among spiritual well-being
(r=.634, p<.001), Attitude toward death(r=.495, p<.001) and Quality of Life.
4. The variables affecting quality of life were Existential spiritual well-being(β=.528, p<.001), attitude toward death(β=.249, p<.001), dual diagnosis(β=-.171, p=.003), occupation(β=.126, p=.035). Explanatory power of there were variables 63.7%.
As a result of this study it is necessary to develop a program using variables revealed to be factors affecting the quality of life of A.A members, and it can be used as basic data for improving the quality of life of A.A members.
