본 연구에서는 증가하는 모바일 디바이스 어플리케이션의 품질 테스트의 필요성을 반영하여, 효과적으로 디바이스 어플리케이션의 품질을 테스트할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고, 이를 웹 시스템으로 설계하고 개발하였다.
시스템을 설계하고 개발하기 위해 전통적인 소프트웨어 테스트 방법에 대해 연구를 진행하였고, 접근성과 반응성이 뛰어난 웹 시스템으로 구현하기 위해 웹의약점과 안드로이드의 약점을 분석하고, 보완할 수 있는 차세대 대체 기술을 연구
하여 본 시스템에 적용하였다.
시스템 구현에 필요한 사항을 분석하여 기능, 비기능 사항을 도출하였고 이를 클래스 다이어그램, 시퀀스 다이어그램, 유즈케이스 다이어그램을 통해 시스템을 구체적으로 표현하였다.
기존의 http 폴링 방식 과 제안하는 웹 소켓 방식을 이용하는 시스템에 각각 5000대 디바이스를 연결하여 테스트 시나리오를 진행하였다. 비교군 을 설정한 후 반복적인 테스트를 통해, 제안하는 웹 관리 시스템의 결과를 관측하고 비교하여
분석하였다.
연구 결과 http 폴링 보다 제안하는 웹 소켓 방식의 시스템이 더 우수한 처리 성능을 보였으며, 디바이스 동시 처리 개수가 많아질수록 서버 안정성은 떨어지지만, 더 나은 시간 효율을 보였다.
결론적으로 테스트를 진행해야할 디바이스의 개수가 많으면 많아질수록 제안하는 웹 관리 시스템을 이용하여 효과적으로 테스트를 진행할 수 있음을 수치로 증명하였다.
