This study is carried on Cropping System of Winter·Summer forage and Feed Value in Cheonan, 2015~2016. The species of forage crop used were Italian ryegrass (cv. Kowenery), barley (cv. Youngyang) and rye (cv. Gogu), sorghum (cv. SX17), procso millet (cv. domestic) and Japanese millet (cv. Jeju). Seeding date for winter forage were 23th sept. 2015 (Italian ryegrass), 21th Oct. 2015((Barley, Rye) and harvest date were 15th may. 2016(Italian ryegrass), 2nd Jun. 2016(Barley, Rye). Summer forage (sorghum, procso millet, Japanese millet) were seeded at 14th Jun. 2016 and harvested 2nd Aug. 2016(heading time) and 20th Aug. 2016(dough time). Dry matter yield of winter forage crops were IRG 9,027kg/ha, Barely 13,426kg/ha and Rye 24,748kg/ha. Rye was higher than others. Dry matter of sorghum were 23,685~32,026kg/ha (1st+2nd) and 78,571~93,750kg/ha (dough stage), procso millet were 4,647~7,857kg/ha (1st+2nd) and 17,534~19,780kg/ha (dough stage) and Japanens millet were 18,363~20,956kg/ha (1st+2nd) and 78,571~93,750kg/ha (dough stage). Sorghum was higher than others. Others were no significant differences of Dry matter of winter forage. Dry matter of winter + summer cropping system was rye + sorghum 50,450kg/ha (sorghum 1st and 2nd harvest) and 118,498kg/ha (sorghum dough stage) was the highest. CP of winter forage were IRG 8.4%, Barley 6.8% and rye 6.8%. IRG was higher than others but it was no significant differences. TDN of winter forage were IRG 58.7%, barely 59.7% and rye 58.9%, it were not different of them. CP of Summer forage were sorghum 13.8~15.7% at 1st harvest time and 6.7~6.9% dough stage, Procso millet were 15.8~19.4 at 1st harvest time and 11.1~12.8% dough stage and Japanes millet were 16.6~18.2% at 1st harvest time and 10.3~11.9% dough stage. ADF of summer forage were 30.5~39.8% 1st harvest time, ADF of sorghum at dough stage was slightly down and others were similar 1st harvest time. NDF were similar 1st but sorghum at dough stage tend to down. In conclusion, cropping system of rye (winter) + sorghum (summer) was recommended because Dry matter was higher than others. Select of suitable winter crop + summer forage for district, climate environment and type of farm was also important.
