본 연구는 청소년의 사회정서적 문제가 사회관계를 거쳐 비행행동에 미치는 구조적 관계를 종단적으로 분석하여 청소년의 비행행동을 예방 또는 줄이기 위한 방안을 마련하고자 시행되었다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해서 한국아동?청소년패널조사(KCYPS)의 2차, 3차, 4차, 6차년도의 종단조사 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 분석방법은 각 변수의 수준 변화 궤적을 분석하기 위하여 잠재성장모형을 활용하였으며, 청소년의 사회정서적 문제와 사회관계, 비행행동에 대한 개인의 시간적 변화와 그 변화에 대한 기울기의 개인차와 집단차가 유의미한지 검증하였다. 또한 사회정서적 문제가 비행행동에 미치는 종단적 관계에서 사회관계의 매개효과를 확인하기 위하여 다변량 잠재성장모형을 활용하여 분석하였다.
연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째. 사회정서적 문제는 중3에서 약간 상승하였다가 고3까지는 하락하는 것으로 나타나 시간에 따라 변화하는 것으로 검증되었다.
둘째, 비행행동은 중2에서 고1까지는 하락하다가 고3에서 다시 상승하는 것으로 나타나 시간에 따라 변화하는 것으로 검증되었다.
셋째, 사회관계는 중2에서 고3까지 점진적으로 상승하는 것으로 나타나 시간에 따라 변화하는 것으로 검증되었다. 또한 사회정서적 문제, 사회관계, 비행행동 모든 변수에서 시간에 따른 개인 간 차이가 크게 나타나고 있었다.
넷째, 사회정서적 문제 발달궤적은 사회관계 발달궤적에 영향을 미친다. 청소년의 사회정서적 문제가 사회관계에 미치는 영향에서 사회정서적 문제의 초기값은 사회관계의 초기값 및 변화율에 모두 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회정서적 문제의 변화율은 사회관계 변화율에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
다섯째, 사회정서적 문제 발달궤적은 비행행동 발달궤적에 영향을 미친다. 사회정서적 문제의 초기값은 비행행동의 초기값 및 변화율에 모두 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
여섯째, 사회관계 발달궤적은 비행행동 발달궤적에 영향을 미친다. 사회관계 초기값은 비행행동 초기값에 영향을 미치고, 사회관계 변화율은 비행행동 변화율에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
일곱째, 사회관계 초기값은 사회정서적 문제와 비행행동의 종단적 관계에서 매개효과가 있다.
여덟째, 사회관계 변화율은 사회정서적 문제와 비행행동의 종단적 관계에서 매개효과가 있다.
이러한 연구결과를 통하여 청소년의 비행행동을 줄이기 위해서는, 사회정서적 문제의 초기수준을 낮추기 위한 예방활동과 변화수준에 따른 각 시기별 개입이 필요하며, 청소년의 사회관계를 부모자녀관계와 친구관계, 교사관계, 지역사회활동참여로 점차 확대할 필요가 있음을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study is to prevent or reduce adolescents’ delinquency behaviors by performing longitudinal analysis of structural relations how their socioemotional problems influence the delinquency behaviors through the social relationship. Accordingly the 2, 3, 4 and 6 longitudinal data of the Korea Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) were utilized for the analysis. As the methods of the analysis, latent growth modeling was used to examine the trajectory of the level changes for each variable, and significance tests were executed on the social relationship of adolescents’ socioemotional problems; individuals’temporal changes of delinquency behaviors; and variations of both individuals and groups on the slop values of the changes. Also, using multivariate latent growth modeling, the longitudinal relationships between socioemotional problems and delinquency behaviors were analyzed to identify meditation effect of social relationship.
The results of this study were as follows;
First, the number of socioemotional problems slightly edged up in the 3 grade middle school students and gradually decreased by the 3 grade highschool students, which was verified to change over time.
Second, the number of socioemotional problems decreased from the 2 grade middle school students to the 1 grade high school students, and began to move upward in the 3 grade high school students, which was verified to change over time.
Third, social relationship gradually increased from the 2 grade middle school students to the 3 grade high school students, which was verified to change over time. In addition, individual differences were great in all of the variables including socioemotional problems, social relationship and delinquency behaviors.
Fourth, the development trajectory of socioemotional problems had effects on the development trajectory of social relationship. In such effects, the initial value of the socioemotional problems influenced both the initial value and variation rate of the social relationship. Moreover, the variation rate of the socioemotional problems influenced the variation rate of the social relationship.
Fifth, the development trajectory of socioemotional problems had effects on the development trajectory of the delinquency behaviors. The initial value of the socioemotional problems affected the initial value and variation rate of the delinquency behaviors.
Sixth, the development trajectory of the social relationship had effects on the development trajectory of delinquency behaviors. The initial value of the social relationship influenced the initial value and variation rate of the delinquency behaviors, and the variation rate of the social relationship affected the variation rate of the delinquency behaviors.
Seventh, the initial value of the social relationship had a mediation effect in the longitudinal relation between socioemotional problems and delinquency behaviors.
Eighth, the variation rate of the social relationship had a mediation effect in the longitudinal relation between socioemotional problems and delinquency behaviors.
Based on the results, it would be needed to perform prevention activitiesin order to reduce the initial value of the socioemotional problems and to implement interventions in each stage depending on its variation rate. Furthermore, I would suggest that adolescent''s social relationship be gradually extended to participation in community activities as well as relationships of parent-child, friend-friend and teacher-student.
