The purpose of this study is to examine the GWP organization culture impacting affective commitment, job stress, and job engagement for employees in public enterprise in Korea. Survey data from 186 employees in radioactive waste agency corporation had been collected and analyzed through empirical research method.
The findings of this research were as follows; First, GWP organization culture was found to have a direct positive impact on affective commitment, job stress mitigation, and job engagement. Second, followers’ affective commitment fully mediated the relationship between GWP organization culture and job stress mitigation. Third, followers’ affective commitment partially mediated the relationship between GWP organization culture and job engagement.
The results of this study suggest practical implications for understanding the key role of GWP organization culture on the psychological factors of employees. Also, it provides that managerial implementations to public organizations regarding how to develop organization culture more effectively. The future directions and the limitations of this study were briefly discussed.
