To figure out degree and relationship of self-differentiation, family-of-origin health and view of marriage of people with mental illness in community, and influence of the view of marriage affected by self-differentiation and family-of-origin health of people with mental illness in community.
176 attendees of 10 day care programs in community rehabilitation institution located in C province, J province, and G metropolitan city are targets and descriptive research for investigating relationship among self-differentiation, family-of-origin health and view of marriage. Independent-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, multiple regression analysis has been analyzed through SPSS 22.0.
Self-differentiation and family-origin health of people with mental illness in community has been showed as a cause affecting to view of marriage, and conservative tendency in view of marriage is high as self-differentiation is low and family-of-origin health is high. Explanation power that the self-differentiation and family-of-origin health explains the view of marriage was 23%, and it has been showed that family-of-origin more affects to view of marriage than self-differentiation.
This research has examined relationship of self-differentiation, family-of-origin health and view of marriage of the people with mental illness in community. This research can be foundation of study about marriage of people with mental illness. Through the research, family members should intervene as a supporting system for people with mental illness since importance of family internal and external environment has been confirmed.
