Secure server which has the ability of encryption and anti-counterfeit is a great countermeasure to defend against a sniffing attack. However, the man-in-the-middle attacks can invalidate the secure server.
Because the action configuration of HTTP consists of request messages and response messages, the secure server starts to drive from response messages. There are many researches that deal with a countermeasure against the man-in-the-middle attack. While network devices such as routers and terminal can be targeted by man-in-the-middle attacks, response range is limited. This necessitates the server side response against the man-in-the-middle attack.
When the Client-Side-Script is used for the server side responses, it requires a process to deliver the coping method to the users, which is not suitable for security issues.
Therefore, we argue that the Server-Side-Script is used for the server side responses. After receiving the data that are sent from the user, it is available if accessed through the requested protocol on response messages that has been sent earlier. This technique is referred to as a secure code. Through this secure coding, it is possible to cope with the attacks to invalidate secure servers using man-in-the-middle attacks. By informing the user about the attacks that can not be coped with, it is expected to enhance the security awareness to the users.
