In order to identify how the opposite sex influence on an chasing behavior, this study invited participants in 20s attending on university. Participants were sixty(30 male, 30 female) and a researcher planned a design between subjects 2(male, female) x 2(opposite sex stimuli: opposite sex’s photographs, neutrality stimuli: car photographs). And the researcher measured the number of All-in, total betting amount by utilizing slot machine game program to measure chasing behaviors. As an analysis result, meaningful difference appeared in the number of All-in, total betting amount. After loss experiences, the male group that saw opposite sex stimuli is significantly higher than other male group that saw neutrality stimuli in the number of All-in, total betting amount. But in case of the female groups, no meaningful difference appeared in the number of All-in, total betting amount. Also after loss experience, male groups meaningfully increased chasing behaviors than female groups and groups that saw opposite sex’s photographs significantly increased chasing behaviors than groups that saw car photographs. the result that opposite sex influence on an chasing can widen application scope clinically intervention by changing automatic cognitive process to delicate cognitive process.
