The respondents often tend to refuse or false response for the question concerning about disclosure personal information in survey of sensitive attribute social or individual. For this problem Warner(1965) suggested the randomized response mode using the randomization device. Also Greenberg, Abul-Ela, Simmons, Horvitz(1969) suggested the unrelated question model extended the Warner model that ask unrelated question replaced by related question in Warner model.
In this paper we consider the interval estimation of population proportion of a rare and sensitive attribute using the unrelated randomized response model. When the proportion is very small, Wald confidence interval may has a negative value of lower bound of confidence interval which widely used under asymptotic normal distribution to interval estimation. To resolve this problem we consider the Wilson score, AC, and Jefferys confidence intervals for interval estimation of a sensitive attribute. In addition we consider that the interval estimation of the population proportion with a rare sensitive attribute using the stratified unrelated question model. Finally we perform simulation study to evaluate the confidence intervals using the mean coverage probability.
