AHF (Anhydrous hydrofluoric) acid was leaked in Gumi, Korea on September 2012 and gaseous hydrogen fluoride was dispersed to the surrounding soil. To see whether the impacts of the accident remains, we investigated F migration and mobility through geochemical characteristics of soil-liquid phase (pore water F, water-soluble F).We extracted soil pore water using centrifuge method to get real time behavior of F in soil. Also we used geochemical modeling program PHREEQC 1) to identify mineral equilibrium, 2)to predict the impacts of pollution assumed various hydrofluoric acid concentrations. The F concentration in soil, pore-water and water soluble were 142-513 mg/kg, N.D (Not detected)-9.79 mg/L, and 0.001-21.4 mg/L, respectively. These F concentrations in study area did not show special evidence of contamination compared with concern level of regulatory criteria and showed similar tendency(mineral form, F leaching rate as pH level increases) compared by other previous studies. Therefore, F in the soil and soil-liquid phase were seemed to be not affected by HF accident.
