(Abstract)
This study conducts changes whether hearing aids substantially improves the non-sense syllable score before, immediately afterwards, and one month wearing hearing aids among 18 participants who have sensory moderate neural hearing loss by using consonant vowel (CV) words and vowel consonants (VC) words.
Fourty consonant-vowel (CV) words non-sense syllable are consisted with ten initial consonants which are highly used at high frequency in Korean and 5 monophthong vowels which have been researched to be used.
Twenty non-sense syllable vowel-consonants words are formed from (/ㄱ, ㄴ, ㄹ, ㅁ, ㅇ, /) five consonants of high frequency among final consonants in Korean and monophthong vowels (/아, 이, 에, 어/). The vowel substitution displayed fewer errors.
Hence, forth, auditory acclimatization must be defined differently depending on individual differences such as degree of hearing loss and the length since speech recognition of recipient has not varied after 4 weeks.
