The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data for the effective nursing intervention of active peripregnancy nursing health care and promotion of maternal health care by finding requirements of demestic old age pregnant
women for the pregnancy and childbirth health care.
The research had been conducted descriptively other than Baek Sung Hee migrant women had been used as the subjects, in which had measured 67 questions while covering 5 categories including before pregnancy health care of the aged pregnant women, pregnancy health care, childbirth health care, after childbirth health care, overall health care. With the collected data analysis had been made applying the SPSS/WIN 15.0 program, also such methods as percentage, average and standard deviation,
t-test, ANOVA were used for the analysis. In this study the participants overall average pregnancy and childbirth health care requests total average was 3.44 points, when taking a look by each categories, the overall health care was 3.51 points, before pregnancy health care was 3.49 points, childbirth health care was 3.47 points, after childbirth health care was 3.42 point, pregnancy health care was 3.39 points.
According to above results, requests for old age pregnancy and childbirth health care showed high score and among detailed results overall health care requests was higher than other results. Therefore the program reflecting the
importance of peripregnancy health care of old age pregnant women and overall health care for the care of newborns has to be developed.
