최근 평균수명의 증가로 고령화가 가속화됨에 따라 치매인구도 급속히 늘어나고 있다. 치매는 한번 발병하면 치유가 어렵지만 조기에 발견하면 치료효과를 극대화 할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문은 smart phone이 자체 진단 프로그램과 생체 센서의 측정 결과를 블루투스로 입력받아 지능적으로 치매를 진단하고 본인과 주변인에게 알림으로써 중요한 조기치료의 시기를 놓치지 않도록 하는 smart phone용 application 의 동작원리 및 적용결과에 대해 분석 하였다. 제안하는 생체센서, 설문지 및 인지능력측정 게임을 통한 smart phone용 치매진단 application을 이용하여 초기치료가 중요한 치매의 정확하고 빠른 진단이 가능하다는 가능성을 보였으며, 추가적으로 치매예방 및 치료용으로도 smart phone을 활용하는 방법을 제안한다.
