The following research was initiated in order to compare and analyze gunfire and its relationship to heavy metal pollution and to check soil remediation. The research was conducted to test pollution of soil caused by acid cleaning at three firing ranges located in the rear strategical area of which are each used by soldiers in active service, recruits and reserves. The heavy metal pollution rate was measured also on water sample collected from the target zone on a raining day. Based on values such as the real amount of gunshot fired, amount of heavy metal in the soil of the target zone, and the degree of heavy metal pollution for each firing range, the research showed that although pollution rate was higher when more gunshots were fired, there was no close correlation. The water samples showed that this might result from the soils containing heavy metals eroded and transported by rain due to the target zone have no vegetation. Heavy metal pollution treatment efficiency was increased result to acid cleaning. Removal efficiency rate was increased not in high concentration but in specific concentration. We need to check heavy metal existence form, right cleaning product, and cleaning concentration. So, by taking extensive care of the firing range such as erosion control and vegetation, the contamination caused by heavy metals may be effectively controlled and for purification, above all, have to consider removal lead raised most problem in comparson with soil pollution cocern standard.
