최근 패션시장에서는 다운에이징이나 캐주얼 라이징 트렌드 열풍으로 인해 경쟁 브랜드끼리의 컨셉, 디자인, 소재 등이 비슷해지면서 브랜드 아이덴티티가 모호해져 소비자들은 더 이상 저렴한 가격이 아닌 그 제품에 담긴 스토리와 디자인, 소재의 고급화, 소비자 타깃의 세분화를 중요시 하게 되었고 특히, 인체의 맞음새가 높은 의류 제품에 대한 관심이 더욱 높아졌다. 하지만 제품을 생산하는 업체에서는 슬림한 표준체형을 기준으로 사이즈별 생산을 하기 때문에 30대 여성의 다양한 체형에 맞는 재킷을 생산하지 못하고 있다. 이러한 실정은 젊고 날씬하게 보이게 하는 슬림한 재킷을 요구하는 다양한 체형의 30대 여성 소비자들의 욕구를 수용하지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 30대 여성의 재킷 착용 실태를 조사 분석하고, 30대 여성의 체형별 맞음새가 좋은 슬림 핏 테일러드 재킷패턴을 개발하여 그 패턴설계방법을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 방법으로는 30대 여성의 슬림 핏 테일러드 재킷의 착용 실태를 조사하여 그 문제점을 파악하였다. 30대 여성을 타깃으로 하는 여성복 브랜드의 슬림 핏 테일러드 재킷 패턴을 수집하여 비교 분석하고 30대 여성의 표준체형에 적합한 슬림 핏 테일러드 재킷 연구원형을 개발한 후 30대 여성의 체형별 착의평가 과정을 거치면서 수정·보완하여 맞음새가 좋은 슬림 핏 테일러드 재킷을 개발하고 패턴설계방법을 제시하였다. 또한 개발한 패턴을 CLO 3D프로그램을 이용해 3차원 형상으로 가상 착장하고, 투시도와 의복압 기능을 통해 개발한 슬림 핏 테일러드 재킷의 여유분의 적합성을 시각적으로 검증하였다. 이와 같은 연구 방법으로 다음의 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 30대 여성 소비자들은 테일러드 재킷을 구매 할 때 1버튼의 슬림한 형태의 재킷을 선호한다. 또한, 재킷 구매 시 꼭 맞는 사이즈를 선택하며 사이즈 결정의 주요 부위는 어깨너비와 가슴둘레이며 선호하는 여유분은 허리부위에 여유분이 없고 가슴과 엉덩이부위에는 여유분이 약간 있는 재킷이다. 그리고 표준체형의 실루엣과 유사한 삼각체형은 수선 경험이 낮고 큰사각체형, 작은사각체형과 같이 표준체형과 실루엣이 다른 체형은 수선 경험이 높게 나왔다. 또한 삼각체형과 같이 둘레항목 비율이 클수록 여유분이 부족하여 가슴부위, 위팔둘레, 등부위에서 불편함을 보이고 있다. 둘째, 개발된 슬림 핏 테일러드 재킷 연구원형의 여유분은 가슴둘레 3.8cm, 허리둘레 7cm, 엉덩이둘레 3.8cm이다. 셋째, 개발된 체형별 슬림 핏 테일러드 재킷 패턴의 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 여유분의 특성을 보면 가슴둘레 여유분은 작은사각(짧은 지체)체형 4cm, 삼각체형과 작은사각(긴 지체)체형 5.6cm, 큰사각체형 6.4cm이다. 허리둘레 여유분은 삼각체형 7cm, 큰사각체형 7cm, 작은사각(긴 지체)체형 7.4cm, 작은사각(짧은 지체)체형 8cm이다. 엉덩이둘레 여유분은 작은사각(긴 지체)체형 5cm, 작은사각(짧은 지체)체형 6cm, 큰사각체형 7.6cm, 삼각체형 9cm이다. 그리고 디자인선 특성을 살펴보면 어깨길이는 삼각체형 11.7cm, 작은사각(짧은 지체, 긴 지체) 체형 12cm, 큰사각체형 12.2cm이고 어깨사이길이는 삼각체형, 작은사각(짧은 지체)체형 39.4cm, 작은사각(긴 지체)체형 39.6cm, 큰사각체형 41.6cm이다. 다트량은 뒤몸판허리선에서 작은사각(짧은 지체)체형 2.5cm, 삼각체형은 2.2cm, 작은사각(긴 지체)체형 3cm, 큰사각체형은 2.2cm이고 뒤옆길다트량은 작은사각(짧은 지체)체형 2.7cm, 삼각체형은 3.6cm, 작은사각(긴 지체)체형 2.5cm, 큰사각체형은 3cm이다. 가상착의에 의한 의복압과 투명도는 전체적으로 여유가 있으면서 슬림한 형태를 보이고 있으며 버튼부분과 암홀, 어깨패드만 약간의 타이트함을 보이고 있다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 분석하여 다음의 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 실태조사 결과에서 나타난 문제점은 제조업체에서 맞음새가 좋은 슬림 핏 재킷을 생산 할 수 있는 인프라가 형성되어 있지 않았다. 특히 각 브랜드에서 패턴에 사용하는 인체치수와 피팅 모델의 인체 치수 차이가 크고, 슬림 핏에 대한 개념과 이해가 소비자들의 생각과 큰 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 30대 여성 표준체형에 맞는 슬림 핏 테일러드 재킷 연구원형은 앞버튼부위 허리둘레를 조금 타이트하고 가슴둘레와 엉덩이둘레는 약간의 여유를 주어 슬림하면서 활동하기 편하게 개발되었다. 셋째, 30대 여성 체형별 슬림 핏 테일러드 재킷의 여유분 특성은 연구원형보다 가슴과 엉덩이둘레에 여유분을 많이 주고 있으며 체형별 가슴둘레 항목이 크면 앞품을 작게 하여 슬림한 실루엣을 보이게 하였다. 넷째, 30대 여성 체형별 슬림 핏 테일러드 재킷의 디자인선 특성은 사각체형일 경우 신장과 둘레의 차이에 따라 길이를 조절하여 볼륨감이 있고 슬림한 재킷 형태를 만들었다. 이는 연구원형과 전체적인 실루엣이 비슷한 작은사각(짧은 지체)체형과 삼각체형은 디자인선 변화가 적게 나타났고 실루엣이 다른 큰사각체형은 디자인선의 변화가 크게 나타났다. 다섯째, 30대 여성 체형별 슬림 핏 테일러드 재킷의 허리 다트량의 배분은
Abstract
A Study on the Slim Fit Tailored Jacket Patterns for Each Body Type of Women in Their 30s

With the fever of down-aging and casualising trends in the latest fashion market, the concepts, designs and materials of different competing brands became quite similar with each other and consequently, the customers started to value more specified qualities including the story, design, and high-quality materials, especially, the interest in the fit to the body has increased. However, jackets appropriate for a varied body types of the women in their 30s are not produced as manufacturers produce in accordance with the slim fit standard body types. This present status does not meet the demands of the women in their 30s who have different types of body shapes but all require a slim jacket that makes look young and thin. Accordingly, the purpose of this research is to analyze how the women in their 30s are wearing jackets currently and develop proper slim fit tailored jacket patterns for each body shapes in order to suggest the pattern design methods.
The adopted research methodologies were case study of the women in their 30s wearing the slim fit tailored jacket to identify the problems. And the patterns of the ladies'' apparel brands’ slim fit tailored jacket targeting the women in their 30s were collected and analyzed to develop the slim fit tailored jacket research prototype to conform to the standard figure of the women in their 30s. Then, the slim fit tailored jacket of good fits were developed after the fitting tests per body type of the women in their 30s and resulting pattern design methods were suggested. In addition, the developed patterns were fitted virtually in three-dimensional shape using the CLO 3D program and the suitability of ease of the slim fit tailored jacket was visually verified through the perspective view and garment pressure function. Followings are conclusions drawn through the abovementioned methods. First, the women in their 30s prefer one buttoned slim shape jacket when they purchase a tailored jacket. In addition, they choose fit size when they purchase a jacket and more focused areas in determining the proper size were the width of shoulder and the bust size, favoring no extra suit in the waist area but surplus portion in the bust and hip areas. And the triangle body types similar to the standard body figure altered the jacket less than the big and small square body types which are different from the standard figure. For the triangle body shape, it showed less extra portions in the bust, upper arms, and back areas causing discomforts. Second, the margins for the research prototype of the developed slim fit tailored jacket are bust size of 3.8cm, waist of 7cm, and hip size of 3.8cm. Third, the results of developed slim fit tailored jacket pattern for each body shape are as follows. To begin with, the characteristics of the surpluses are 4cm for small square body type (short body), 5.6cm for triangle and small square body types (long body), and 6.4cm for huge square body type. The waist area surpluses are 7cm for triangle body type, 7cm for huge square body type, 7.4cm for small square body type (long body), and 8cm small square body type (short body). The hip area surpluses are 5cm for small square body type (long body), 6cm for small square body type (short body), 7.6cm for big triangle body type, and 9cm for triangle body type. Moreover, in terms of the design line features, the shoulder lengths are 11.7cm for triangle body type, 12cm for small square body type (short body), and 12.2cm for big square body type. And the distance between both shoulders are 39.4cm for triangle body type and small square body type (short body), 39.6cm for small square body type (long body), and 4136cm for large square body type. The amount of darts from the waist line of the back bodice are 2.5cm for small square body type (short body), 2.2 cm for small body type, 3cm for small square body type (long body), and 2.2cm for big square body type. The amount of darts on the back and side are 2.7cm for small square (short body), 3.6cm for small body type, 2.5cm for small square body type (long body), and 3cm for big square body type. The virtual wearing shows the ease of overall fitting in terms of the garment pressure and transparency and slim shape, slightly tight only in the button area, armhole and shoulder pads.
By analyzing the results from this research, following findings were induced. First, the problems emerged in the current status research was that the proper infrastructure to produce a fitting slim fit jackets is not established yet. In particular, the body measurements and body dimensions for fitting models of each brands differ in great number and there were big gaps with the concepts and understandings of customers’ regarding the slim fit. Second, the slim fit tailored jacket research prototype for the women in their 30s was developed tightening the front button and hip areas while giving extra portions in the bust and hip areas to provide slim fit and ease of activities as well. Third, the property of the surplus portion of the slim fit tailored jacket for each body type of the women in their 30s are that there are more extra margin in the bust and hip areas than the research prototype with the larger bust size and smaller breast width to create a slim look. Fourth, the property of the design line of the slim fit tailored jacket for each body type of the women in their 30s is that the length was adjusted according to the differences between the height and width in case of square body type, creating voluminous and slim jacket shape.
