건축물의 기밀 성능은 의도치 않게 생긴 실내외 공기의 이동을 의미한다.
기존의 연구들을 살펴보면 건물의 기밀 성능이 낮은 경우 누기 또는 침기량이 증가하게 된다. 기밀성능이 낮은 건물의 경우 건물의 냉ㆍ난방 소비가 증가하게 되며, 습기 및 결로 문제가 발생하게 되어 건물의 운용 효율 역시 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 건축물의 기밀 성능은 건물의 크기, 외피 재질, 구조 등에 따라 시공 단계 전에 예측하기 어렵다. 또한 시공 후 초고층 건물이나 대형건물의 기밀 성능은 일반적인 방법으로는 측정하기 어려우며 한계가 따른다. 본 연구에서는 건물의 기밀 성능을 측정하고 건물의 기밀 성능을 효과적으로 예측할 수 있는 시뮬레이션을 적립하였다.
본 연구는 총 6장으로 구성되었으며, 각 장의 내용은 다음과 같다.
제 1장에서는 연구의 배경 및 필요성, 연구의 방법에 대하여 기술하였다.
제 2장에서는 건축물의 기밀 성능의 정의와 개념, 기밀 성능의 측정 방법,기밀 성능을 나타내는 지표 등에 대해 이론적으로 고찰하였다.
제 3장에서는 실제 건축물을 대상으로 블로어 도어 팬 및 공조기를 이용하여 기밀 성능을 측정 및 평가하였다.
제 4장에서는 건물 기밀성능의 예측 프로세스의 개발 배경과 프로세스를 위한 변수 분석 및 결과를 기술하였다. 또한 기밀 성능 변수 분석 결과를 토대로 기밀 성능 예측 개선을 위한 모델 보정 프로세스를 정립하였다.
제 5장에서는 사전에 건물의 기밀성능 데이터를 기반으로 정립된 기밀 성능 예측 프로세스를 이용하여 프로세스 단계 별 건물 기밀 성능 예측 정확성을 평가하며 프로세스의 유효성을 검증하였다.
제 6장에서는 본 연구에서 도출된 실험 및 프로세스 결과를 바탕으로 결론을 기술하였다.
