Purpose of this research was to survey the relationship between turnover intention and customer orientation which were influenced by job insecurity, exposure to emotional labor, and emotional burnout during the performance of beauty servicet workers.
This research was significant in considering the factors combined which was regarded separately in previous researches, thus it may contribute to the beauty industry by giving informations of strategies for proper management of human resources of beauty business. For this research, surveys were held to 395 people who are over 20 years old of both genders, and living in Busan, Gyeongnam, and Daegu area. The data analysis was performed through the programs such as AMOS 21.0 and SPSS 21.0 for Windows.

Conclusions are following :

First, Job insecurity made positive influence to emotional burnout and turnover intention, and made negative influence to customer orientation. Furthermore, standardized path coefficients between job insecurity and emotional burnout(0.233) was larger than it between job insecurity and turnover intention (0.178), and job insecurity and customer orientation(-0.124), so that proved relative influence of job insecurity to emotional burnout was larger than the others. Job insecurity like difficulty of acquiring of knowledge and technique, avoiding tasks due to lack of ability, and unstable employment, not only influence to turnover intention, and customer orientation, but also makes exhaustion of emotion such as depersonalization, and less sense of accomplishment
Second, Exposure to emotional labor made positive influence to emotional burnout, and turnover intention, and made negative influence to customer orientation. In addition, standardized path coefficients between job insecurity and turnover intention(0.303) was larger than it between job insecurity and emotional burnout(0.250), and job insecurity and customer orientation(-0.143), so that showed relative influence of job insecurity to turnover intention was larger than the others. It means exposure to emotional labor which occurs during the employee''s performance, not only influences to emotional burnout and customer orientation, but also makes he or she think of turnover which means giving up of being a member of current workplace and leaving from there, by not expressing one''s emotion, and hiding it.
Third, Emotional burnout made positive influence to turnover intention, and made negative influence to customer orientation. Standardized path coefficients between emotional burnout and customer orientation(-0.341) was larger than it between emotional burnout and turnover intention(0.225), so that meant relative influence of emotional burnout to customer orientation was larger than that to turnover intention, as well.
Fourth, Turnover intention influenced negatively to customer orientation, which means the more turnover intention makes the lower customer orientation.
Fifth, Job insecurity influenced positively to exposure to emotional labor, and they got positive correlation.
