The purpose of the present study is to find out the degree and the form of sport participation in accordance with social-stratifications. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, a survey questionnaire was composed of a criteria of subjective social-stratifications, a formula to divide objective social-stratifications and items for the degree and the form of sport participation. The survey questionnaires were distributed to people who live in Daegu and over 20 years old. The number of returned questionnaires is 407 among a total of 430. Collected responses were analyzed by correlation analysis, cross tabulation analysis, one-way MANOVA.
As a result of correlation analysis, the relationship between objective social-stratifications and subjective social-stratifications was minor positive. The result of cross tabulation analysis indicates that the degree of sport participation in accordance with both objective and subjective social-stratifications was no difference. Also, the result of one-way MANOVA indicates that the form of sport participation in accordance with both objective and subjective social-stratifications was no difference.
