This paper addresses modeling and analysis of the dead-time effect in parallel pulsewidth-modulated (PWM) three-level single-phase converters. The main objective is to gain
understanding of how the effects caused by the necessary
dead-time, the finite turn-on and turn-off times of the
switching devices, the dead-time effects, influence the
circulating current generation between the parallel-connected units. Detailed circuit operation and analysis as well as simulation and experimental results are presented. and also research about applicable load test technique when periodic UPS test, separate load tester as well as without moving or setting up the test cable.
