The purpose of this study is to simulate the construction of tidal plantation in Asan bay by the validity of the tidal level, tidal current and temperature and quality of water.
In this study, EFDC model was used which is applicable in
various areas such as stream, lake and estuary. To increase the reliability of the analyzed result, the water quality data of 2011 and 2012 were used to revise and verify the data. As a result, the simulated value of flow and water quality expressed similarly.
The parameter values were used for comparative analysis of the before/after tidal plantation to the inland sea and open sea. As a result, before/after open sea showed similar trend as the before construction, and there was no obvious distinction due to seawater encroachment and exchange. In the case of inland sea, there was subtle distinction due to a construction of the tidal barrage. And also due to the difference of the tidal range compared to effluent water of Asan lake and Sap-gyo lake there is large number of seawater movement that the difference is small.
