This study aimed to systematically analyze the impact of ski club members' communication satisfaction on social connectedness and activity satisfaction, thereby providing both practical and theoretical foundations for enhancing club management and interpersonal relationships among members. To this end, data were collected from 227 members of ski clubs in the Gangwon and Gyeonggi regions through purposive sampling, and the research questions were examined to derive the following conclusions.
First, among the communication satisfaction factors, leadership, information delivery, and feedback and evaluation were found to have a significant enhancing effect on the intimacy dimension of social connectedness. Information delivery, feedback and evaluation, and relationships and communication were associated with improvements in the sense of belonging, while leadership and information delivery were linked to greater active exchange and participation within social connectedness.
Second, information delivery as well as relationships and communication contributed meaningfully to the personal aspects of activity satisfaction. Leadership, information delivery, and relationships and communication were strongly associated with the social aspects of activity satisfaction.
Third, in terms of social connectedness, the sense of belonging facilitated personal activity satisfaction, whereas intimacy, sense of belonging, and active exchange and participation contributed to the social dimension of activity satisfaction.
Finally, a structural relationship analysis indicated significant path differences, with social connectedness exhibiting a partial mediating role in the relationship between communication satisfaction and activity satisfaction
